| Guys I've been chasing this issue for several days now (and not 10-15 minute intervals either) and its really got me scratching my head The engine is noticeably rough at idle for starters. Only at idle with the number 6 cylinder not fire. I disconnect the coil pack and there is no noticeable change in idle. Disconnecting every other coil results in an expected condition. I suspected the fuel injector at first, so I got to looking at it, and noticed the physical connector on the injector was somewhat cracked. I know how finicky these injectors can be, so I replaced it.....only to yield the same mis-fire condition. I went on to throw a 3rd known good fuel injector, and we're still having the same problem I do notice that when I hold anything over 1500rpm or so, the engine smooths out, and I can disconnect the coil at that RPM and you can feel the engine start to mis-fire. I've checked the compression and its OK, and I also swapped in a 2nd known good coil. At this point I have not swapped the PTU, however I am doubting thats the issue. The wiring harness is only about a year old and the car is rarely driven. I did take this harness from one I had to cut the injector connectors off of for an Border 850 kit, however I reverted back to the early style connectors. I dont suspect the wiring could be the issue as I soldered the connections. Anyone ever come across this issue before?
